Sumac Pepper Wings

Recipe adapted from The Wicked Noodle

Ingredients: 2lbs Chicken Wings, Z&Z Sumac, Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Vegetable Oil

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.

  2. Pat wings dry. Toss chicken wings with vegetable oil.

  3. Place wings on a wire rack set on a baking sheet, taking care not to crowd wings. Bake for 20 minutes

  4. Remove from oven and flip wings. Bake for another 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy

  5. Sumac Pepper Sauce: Melt 1/2 cup butter.

  6. Add a blend of 1/2 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp black pepper, 4 tbsp sumac

  7. Remove wings from the oven and place in bowl. Pour melted butter and sumac-pepper seasoning liberally onto wings (stir butter mixture as you go to make sure you have plenty of seasoning for each wing).

  8. Sprinkle with more Sumac and enjoy :)
