Iraqi Rice Kubbeh

Our grandma Teta Farideh passed away this past January at the age of 85. To remember her we wanted to make the one recipe she always made for us. She discovered this recipe during her time living in Iraq after our grandparents left Palestine. We always called it Kubbet Ruz (rice) كبة الرز but after trying to find more information online we found out it’s a variation of a classic called Kubbet Halab. Follow along as we make this recipe with our dad and share some memories.
